Secondment

This project included a secondment at the group of Prof. Magnus Ingelman-Sundberg, at the Karolinska Institutet, in Stockholm, Sweden.

There, I learnt how to generate spheroids from primary human hepatocytes and how to maintain them in long-term cultures. Additionally, I became acquainted on how to use spheroids for RT-qPCR and immuno stainings. All the acquired knowledge was transferred to my host laboratory.

In these unforgettable 3 months I acquired new technical skills, while having the chance to meet amazing people and enjoy the beautiful landscape of Stockholm!
